In Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus teaches us how to pray. Focusing on this prayer, there will be an opportunity for us to learn and be a part of the New Zealand Lord’s Prayer (“Eternal Spirit”), which is from the Maori Common Book of Prayer. This is a beautiful chant choreographed by Carla DeSola, well known dancer, choreographer and author of Sacred Dance. We will also experience an African Lord’s Prayer as well as the familiar and traditional Lord’s Prayer. Our meditation will deepen our personal time of prayer.
Emmalyn Moreno will lead us in drumming as well. Bring your drum or we can provide.
