SUMMARY:Weekend Dance & Prayer Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Theme: “You Are Not Alone”\nGod knows it is easy to lose sight of His presence during times of great fear and uncertainty. Sometimes\, we question whether He really loves us and is with us during difficult times. \nScripture assures us we are not alone in our circumstances — In Isaiah 43:2\, God says\, “When you pass through the waters\, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers\, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire\, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Further\, God promises to help us face these circumstances. “So do not fear\, for I am with you; do not be dismayed\, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). \nThrough drumming\, dance\, meditation\, discussion and prayer we will explore and experience God’s everlasting presence in our lives. This workshop is open to all denominations and faith. We invite all “dancers\,” those who have only danced in their hearts\, and those with more experience to join us. The Alleluia Dance Theater was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1978\, whose mission has been to inspire and encourage people in their spiritual journeys through movement. \nThe Alleluia Dance Theater incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1978.
